In 2002 Darren Mapes and Linda Nagle joined forces to create Sing Over King.... Located in the heart of Newtown, Sing Over King offers private vocal coaching, pro-singing and acting classes, CODA- a year long part time singing and acting course, as well as various master classes and workshops throughout the year.

We have between us more than thirty years experience as both performers and tutors. Our staff at Sing Over King are all working industry professionals- the best in the business.

At Sing Over King we cater for young people who wish to be more than ordinary singers. You bring a good attitude and a commitment to your craft and we’ll supply the polish.

Successful clients from Sing Over King have been cast in both Principal and Chorus roles in Ballroom, Fiddler On The Roof, Dusty, The Lion King, Saturday Night Fever, The Producers, South Pacific, Mamma Mia, We Will Rock You, Cats, Oliver, Shout, Hair, Leader of the Pack, Get Happy, Hot Shoe Shuffle, The Witches of Eastwick, Threepenny Opera, Fame, Footloose, Oh What a Night and The Full Monty.
